![]() This is why Peer-to-Peer exists in ACADE. These are all totally different things that have no good common graphical ground. A P&ID gets process and instrument symbology. A pneumatic drawing gets pneumatic symbology. I don't know if this is an industry-wide thing, but literally every single person I've worked with who needed P&IDs had this expectation.Ī schematic drawing gets schematic symbology. They expect the other disciplines to conform to theirs. It seems that the process folks only want to see the symbology they're used to, even though they're not looking at a process drawing. ![]() They aren't the same yet people seem to think they should be. A convention exists for schematic drawings. I've also run into this, and to me, the real problem isn't about conventions, it's about expectations.Ī convention exists for P&ID drawings.
