Keep doing this until Narrator reports that there is only one partition called unallocated space. When you get to the Windows installer, choose the delete button next to all the partitions of your disk. I'm not posting this necessarily for the other posters here, just things to think about for any who drop in. Saying that, it'll be very capable indeed, but for anyone reading this wanting maximum performance remember that part of the high cost of a Mac is the OS you are buying in the package so removing it makes it a less appealing prospect compared with windows computers of the same cost that would, dependent on application, blow MacBooks out of the water in terms of running windows as they are designed specifically to do so.Īnother quick note, there are rumours that apple are moving to ARM based processors over the next couple of years which may break bootcamp ability completely. For example, you can't cast, in the way that windows does, to displays etc, or it's very hit and miss, though I do believe airplay can be used in some cases. It's certainly an interesting prospect but still won't work as well as a windows machine due to limitations and incompatibility with certain drivers and hardware. Just some things to check, make sure you can reinstall OS X if needs be by leaving the restoration part of the drive in tact, though I'm not sure if you can actually remove that.
